September 14, 2022. Elnur Shukurov, deputy director of “Seda TV” LLC, de facto head of the Internet channel of the same name, was detained. He was prosecuted under the Article 312-1.1 (illegal influence on the decision of an official) of the Criminal Code. The Binagadi district court has elected a measure of restraint in the form of detention for Elnur Shukurov.
The Prosecutor General's Office stated that the criminal activities of Elnur Shukurov were discovered by accident. During the investigation of the case against the previously arrested Avaz Zeynalli and Elchin Sadigov, the illegal actions of Elnur Shukurov were revealed. The Press Service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reported the information.
