May 6, 2022. President Ilham Aliyev approved the law on amendments to the State Duty Law. In Article 22 of the law, the term “nationwide television broadcasting” is replaced by the term “national terrestrial television broadcaster”. Furthermore, the fee of the state duty applied to this category of media has been reduced by 10 times - from 50,000 to 5,000 manats.
