September 24, 2022. The 8th Congress of Journalists of Azerbaijan was held. A new Board of the Press Council was formed at the congress. The Board, formed by voting, consists of 23 people.
Members of the Board of the National Council, elected from among journalists, are: Rashad Majid, Vusala Mahirgizi, Hajibey Heydarli, Rauf Arifoghlu, Algish Musayev, Aflatun Amashov, Aydin Guliyev, Azer Hasrat, Elshad Eyvazli, Agil Alasger, Elchin. Mirzabeyli, Vugar Rahimzade, Akif Ashirli, Saadat Mammadova. Members of the Board of the National Council, elected from among the representatives of the public, are: Mushfig Alasgarli, Yegana Hajiyeva, Gulu Maharramli, Vugar Zifaroghlu, Bahruz Mammadzade, Yadigar Mammadli, Jeyhun Musaoglu, Umud Mirzoyev, Farid Pardashunas.
