May 17, 2002. By decision of the Baku Court of Appeal, Zaur Mirzazade was arrested in the courtroom and sentenced to 5 years’ imprisonment. Zaur Mirzazade is the head of the Bakutime.az website. He was accused of fraud.
Zaur Mirzazadeh was detained due to the statement of the victim Sultanali Gurbanov and was accused of defrauding large sums of money from citizens.
